last night i dreamt that there were these (actually sort of pretty) black and yellow beetles crawling all over my window and then when i looked around they were all in my room. i was annoyed by them but not totally grossed out like i normally am with bugs. i just wanted to capture them all and put them back outside where they belonged.

if i did a scientific experiment, i’d say that i probably eat less ice cream if it doesn’t have anything in it (ie plain coffee vs. mint chocolate chip). my favorite part is the texture, so as soon as i run out of them, i’m disinterested. if i am sitting with a little carton of ice cream, i like the top to be smooth, so i keep eating until there are no more chips/chunks/etc left...

today, right after i got to work, i heard my phone vibrate in my bag. normally when i hear this, it’s someone i don’t want to talk to. so, i rolled my eyes and begrudgingly rustled through my belongings to retrieve my phone.
i had a text message waiting for me from none other than T. “can i come visit you?” she asked. WHAT? SOMEONE VOLUNTARILY COMING TO LOWELL?! TO SEE...
